Westfalia Restoration Week 8 (Part 2)

Seem’s Volker’s been working extra hard to make sure Babe will be ready for camping season! Of course I’m thrilled to see the progress he’s now making on the actual body. The section of floor that got fixed and a complete removal of the dash wasn’t in our original plans so it’s extra work (and time) for him. I know he has at least one more bus lined up and waiting so there are other people who are happy he’s giving up weekend time to get as much done as possible each week.

And the photos he sent today show that! I’ll just post a few, the cockpit interior is done (at least the lower part he’s been working on). That includes the rest of the rust remediation, sanding & sealing, priming, rock guard (inside & underneath), Lizard Skin on the floor and front sections, and then…
