I’ll be honest and start by saying that I’ve never been a big fan of Christmas and all the commercial aspects of it since I grew up. Now that my kids are grown up they’re also getting past it (I think). It is still a time to get together with family and while having extended families means those get-togethers also get extended it’s the one part of Christmas I still enjoy. And this year my mother will be coming down to Toronto for Christmas eve… she hasn’t been here for many years. I think the last time I can remember was when 1999 became 2000. So this is nice!
And, well… it’s been snowing all day.
