A friend passed along a challenge on Facebook which was fairly straight forward… publish one B&W photo each day for 5 days. Most people were posting highly enhanced, lovely digital images. Quite a delightful assortment of images. I elected to take a different approach.
Here are my 5 B&W photos. These are actually pictures of prints I have framed over the years, a couple of which I no longer know where the negatives are. Let me know what you think of them…
B&W Day 1: Shadow and Snow, shot in 1973 11 X 14 print matted in a 16 X 20 frame. Print #2 of 2 (Toronto ON)
B&W Day 2: Boardwalk. 1997 8X10 B&W print from a colour negative, matted and framed 11 x 14. 1 of 1(Nice France)
B&W Day 3: Jesuit Prayer This is 16 X 20 sepia tone print from a 4 X 6 B&W negative, in an antique frame. 1 of 2, the other print was sold to Saint Marie Among The Hurons. I wonder if it still exists. (Midland ON)
B&W Challenge day 4: Hôtel de Ville, around 1997 Printed on 11×14 Ilford paper (Paris France)
B&W Challenge Day 5: A Field of Dreams, 2011 8X10 print matted and framed 11X14 (Hillsdale ON)
